Project Context

A multi-year initiative aimed at strengthening the institutional capacity of 12 local partner organizations across Uganda. The program focuses on building sustainable systems in governance, financial management, and monitoring & evaluation to enable these partners to deliver more effective programs in their communities.

SRC's Role

SRC serves as the lead technical partner providing corporate governance training, financial systems development, GESI integration, M&E framework design, and resource mobilization mentorship.

Location & Period

Various locations across Uganda | January 2025 – December 2026

Key Achievements

• 12 partner organizations onboarded and baseline assessments completed
• Corporate governance frameworks developed for all partners
• Financial management systems standardized across the network
• GESI policies integrated into organizational strategies
• Over 60 staff trained in MEAL best practices

Project Context

Woord en Daad engaged SRC to overhaul and strengthen their financial management systems, ensuring compliance with international donor requirements while improving internal decision-making through better financial data.

SRC's Role

Providing expert financial consulting including budgeting processes, cash flow management, strategic forecasting, due diligence reviews, and grant management system optimization.

Mukono, Uganda | July 2025 – Ongoing

Key Achievements

• Redesigned budgeting templates adopted organization-wide
• Cash flow forecasting improved accuracy by 40%
• Grant management system fully compliant with donor regulations
• Finance team trained on new systems and processes

Project Context

TUNADO required a comprehensive PMEAL framework to track the impact of their network-wide programs and ensure accountability to stakeholders and donors.

SRC's Role

Designing baseline studies, developing MEAL frameworks, implementing impact tracking systems, and producing comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Custom MEAL framework designed and deployed
